    ... Australia he was so envious saying how much he wants to live there... A guy who has grown up on the French Riviera, where the weather is warm 360/365 days of the year... I guess the grass is always greener on the other side but conversations like these do make me grateful about the beautiful country I am able to call home.

    ... to a supermarket along the way and picked up a few treats to make a nice little platter and some liquids to wet the whistle. The weather was perfect and the water looked spectacular. There were so many people set up on the shore and colourful umbrellas and towels was oh so appealing. There were sun kissed bodies dressed in bikinis - if that! - as far as the eye could see.     ... I seriously can't get enough of the World.. Such a beautiful world we live in.

    The atmosphere was great - we walked to dinner; which was nothing short of amazing. Something so simple as bread and balsamic vinegar and olive oil is really on point. I was probably more amused that they had the balsamic in a spray bottle to make it easier - why haven't people done this in Sydney?!

He asked us in for a drink or a coffee, but we declined, thinking we'd already consumed a good part of his morning, however he really insisted, so we gratefully accepted. We met his wife, Maite, who was equally friendly and charming.     ... I had a photo in front of the famous red carpet walked by many a movie star. Cannes is certainly a haven for the rich and shameless; top class fashion shops are found on every corner ie. Dior, Chanel, Burberry etc. Roberta & I probably couldn't even afford the bag they put your shopping into! One could do some serious credit card damage in Cannes for sure.
