C is for "castle"

A travel blog entry by rossfamily

... there is up top – from the ground, all you see is castle, and it looks huge, but the actual chateau only accounts for a small part of the grounds. There were lots of gardens and lawns, a da Vinci monument, a chapel, and other buildings. We toured the castle, which was neat, but not nearly as fancy as Chenonceau. Although, if you lived here, you’d probably prefer the views! Because of its elevated position, the views from the castle and ...

Life well spent is long

Pandas, ...

the French 'Houdin' who the American Houdini got his name from. But
we ended up exploring all the quiet backstreets of Blois, very quiet
and built into the hills so many ...

A travel blog entry by browntravelco

Once again a lazy start to the day but eventually we got on the road to Amboise! This is a very very pretty town with a lot more upmarket troglodyte living! Very hip. But the main highlight here was 'Clos Luce' Leonardo's last home for 3 years of his life which was a big ...
