    ... to meet people leaving " because the line is too long" . Two gents say they have been waiting an hour so are not going and give us their tickets, number 14. When we get into the theatre it is packed and they are handing out tickets number 24!     ... dire conditions these soldiers lived in for months and years. Their schedule was a rotation of 2 hours on guard, 4 hours off (still in the trench), 2 hours on and then 4 hours, etc. for 24 hours for a stretch of 7 days. They would have a week off in the military camp before they resumed the schedule all over again. Made me realize that I shouldn't be complaining about my aching feet from travelling.
