This morning I woke up and set off to Hyde Park for my 5-mile run. Running is such an amazing way to explore a city! After the fireworks we walked the quay to see the fair rides and fun that were set up beside the harbour. Little tots dressed warmly in rain suits and onesies spun by on the carousel, eyes bright as they thought they controlled the action from their perches at the wheels of the doubledecker bus and racecar.
