The ride itself was also hair raising as we shot around cobblestone corners between trams on two wheels while the driver crossed himself each time he passed a church or a shrine. The compartment on the train was a three berth one with all three ...

There is a German couple in the couchette next to ours and the border control guy is checking their passport whilst speaking to them in German. ... wooden carvings of cartoonish men with beer, or at least that's what one of them was, the rest were to hard to figure out. The hotel also boasted a permanent art exhibition. The art was the creepy portrait kind you would find in a castle or stately home, and there was a lot of it. Every inch of the dining room was covered in epic farming scenes and portraits of kings and queens sternly giving you the stink eye.

      The Wedding

A travel blog entry by adrianineurope on Sep 21, 2012

      This was the wedding.

      • Toured city, led by Thomas
      • I got ridiculously drunk on vodka with Charlotte

      • Whole wedding in Polish
      • Reception, still too hungover to do much but food was amazing
      • Got over drunkedness and went everywhere, getting pictures with ...
