Hello Everyone!

Since it's a holiday weekend I headed up to King's Lynn to pick up a few beer brewing supplies. Since it was on my way back I decided to make a quick solo stop at Oxburgh Hall, a beautiful moated manor house. It was quite enchanting! What a beautiful day! I wished that I had brought better shoes so that I could walk more of the grounds because they were simply lovely!

Train, tube through London, another train, equals five hours' journey from Salisbury to Norwich. I let myself into my absentee host's home and settled in for 10 days. Exploring a new-to-me part of England. Norwich Cathedral has a very high spire too (second only to Salisbury's) and claims to have the biggest monastic cloister. It has also been lovely having walks along the coast and having the obligatory cuppa with cake afterwards.

Unfortunately we have had Pierre weighed whilst we were near Fakenham to find we are 1/2 a tonne over weight. We originally weighed the van in Warwick and were told by our dealer that something must be wrong and to re-visit a weigh bridge, this has only prooved that it was correct. All is well to Binham, but, then, the road is closed, and we have to follow a signposted diversion, which takes us via Wells-next-the-Sea, we may as well have followed the sat-nav route!

Eventually, 30 miles later, we arrive at Walsingham.
