  • Decided to have a day out in Sheringham today, so jumped on the coast hopper. Cley-next-the-sea is a few villages up from here and as we reached it the traffic came to a stand still.     ... on the Buttlands was Earth, Wind for hire a tribute band to those 70's disco greats Earth wind and fire, chic, shalamar and others. By the second song the crowd were up on their feet and this continuedall evening and for 2 or 3 encoures. And so ends Wells carnival for another great year.     ... well here with our smelly shirts and fly flecked faces. We eventually found the Hoste Hotel for lunch which although had fairly extortionate prices, the food was good.

    The final 20K to Hunstanton seemed to consist of one hill after another. Whoever said that Norfolk is flat is a bloody liar or never cycled here.
