... with her for a while and although she put on a brave face, there were tears in her eyes as she told us about that awful day.

We've been lucky I suppose as we've not really had too many strong aftershocks since we've been here although there was one last week when I felt the house move; almost as if the whole house had taken a deep breath and then settled down again!
