Well hanging around the busstation, wating for this guy was an experience as everything else when you travel by yourself. Especially in Asia being a white girl taller than most here, with bandage on my foot, limping with my huge backpack (will I ever learn to not bring that much stuff with me?!) Sat on some sort of a bench looking out for bus no. 29 ...

Unfortunately, in all the stress, I managed to cruise by the immigration booth when I first got into Malaysia and hung in limbo for a few days. Realised the potential error, went back to the immigration booth, the official within saying he can stamp me into the country only on the same day that I leave Thailand. However, other than rat-watching, cat-watching and shopping for headscarves, there's not an awful lot else to do in Kota Bharu other than catch the nightbus on to more exciting destinations. We amused ourselves with trying on each others glasses upside down, until the bus arrived and I promptly fell asleep until we arrived in the much more bustling metropolis of Kuala Lumpur ...
