      ... owners wife spend 10 minutes with a broom trying to get it out. She finaly hit it to the ground, smiled at me and said.. "oh only a baby" before throwing it out the window.

      At 6 in the morning I got up to find the Bus getting me to the border to Thailand....

      ... you a small fortune for it!

      We rocked up just in time to see the night market stalls being set up, and many a happy moment was spent perusing the goods. I was very tempted to buy a sparkly headscarf so I could fit in a bit more, but after trying one on I discovered that they're not all that flattering on me, so resorted to buying sweeties, packets of snoopy tissues and moist towelettes instead.

      ... Zecsman. He suggested to use a silk canvas instead of cotton to paint and he taught me how to do the waxing process in the Malay way of batik painting. The difference I understood was that they draw the lines by melted wax WITHOUT tilting the canvas. It was more difficult than last time, but in the end I was pretty satisfied with my work!

      ... by 4x4 and once we turned off the main highway we drove down a dirt track. The driver described this as a "free massage", but it was very bumpy, slippery and uncomfortable! The local villagers met us on arrival and gave us fern hats to welcome us to the rainforest. The trek was great fun, but it was very steep and tricky in places.
