... on to Slovenia pretty quickly. And it was a great decision as we snaked our way through the mountains, the van coping admirably, with a new stunning vista around each corner. We headed to Bled and a campsite on the lake, but an avalanche of tourists for the Bled festival meant that it was completely full. In fact apart from the stunning location, the campsite didn't seem our bag anyway, so we went and found camping Sobec which was perfect, and it was time to chill and catch up on some ...

I also plan a quick trip to Los Angeles to catch ...

Spectacular mountain views from the top of the Reisseckbahn. First take a three stage cable driven trains up an incredibly steep slope following a hydroelectric dam pipeline, then a tiny train through a tunnel under the mountain. Lots of walks and restaurants at the top. Remnants of melting snow left here and there in hot sunny ...

Today was time for Tim to go back home and for us to carry on moving but as we didn't have to be out of the campsite until one we weren't in much of a hurry. Tim and Ruby finished working on the song that was with yesterday's blog and we got a bit of the van organised. It was a hot morning so we decided a swim was in order and on the way we bumped into Mrs Roger (never did catch her name) who was one half of the kiwi couple who we saw ...
