      The amazing color display of fall continued as we drove to Québec. The city of Québec is located in Québec province, which is almost entirely French-speaking. The traffic signs are in French only. That only proved to be a problem, when we incorrectly translated a parking sign to mean 'no payment' required on Sunday - and promptly got a parking ticket.       ... great room rate for us in Elgin/Dundee IL. After checking in and browsing local eateries we set out to Dominick's Pizzeria for an authentic Chicago pizza experience. Our hearts were broken to discover a true Chicago deep dish or stuffed crust pizza would take an hour to bake. That was far too long for the famished family.       As of last week I have been accepted to teach abroad in China for an entire year starting this February 2015 with CIEE (Council on International Education and Exchange)! I cannot wait to see what I can offer the other side of the world and vise versa :) I won't be updating my blog much before I leave, but will try to keep up to date once I start my adventure on the other side of the world. I will ideally being doing at least 2 entires a week...fingers crossed.
