Today is the day. I have been waiting for this since I looked at the application over a year and a half ago. This is the day I start my journey by flying from O'Hare to Heathrow. London will become my home for the next three months. To say i'm excited would be putting it lightly; I am beyond ecstatic. Although my flight departs in the evening, I am doing my best to stay up all night in an attempt to beat jet-lag once I arrive ...

Tomorrow is another lot & license, but we do have a radio interview and a library visit set up, so it should be a lot more fun than today was. AND...we're meeting up with our long ago friend, Corrie O'Connor, for dinner tomorrow too. She's a friend from the Brandtson days and we're incredibly excited to see her again after almost 8 years.
