    ... the Galileo Museum which was really interesting showing many instruments and devices for star gazing, experiments and medical discoveries over 500 years. Our Chianti wine journey followed sitting in the shade enjoying 29 degrees and people watching. Dinner tonight was pasta and great conversations with other Aussies on their Florence adventure. Eating gelato on the way home was a lovely end to another food filled day in Italy. Off to Siena by bus tomorrow, stay tuned ...

    Today we definitely picked up the pace. We had breakfast at the B&B at 8:30 and were out the door by 9, heading straight to Academia to see the Statue of David, and the rest if Michael Angelo's work. His work was unbelievable... It was so detailed, and something about it made it incomparable and empowering.
