... bigger too. There was also a spot where we could get out and float down on our backs which was really relaxing. Once we arrived back to camp and dried off we had a quick lunch then hit the road. It took us an hour and a half to reach Knoxville, Tennessee which is where Nicole went to Uni so she gave us a quick driving tour round campus. It genuinely looked like the uni's you see in films which was so cool. We then carried onto ...

We met up with AJ (our nephew) and Allison, who are hiking the Appalachian Trail. We had breakfast together at the Apple Tree Restaurant in Marion, and they told us all about their adventure on the trail. Their packs weigh about 40 pounds, and we watched as they reorganized them with ...

Today was a great day. Breakfast at the Best Western was perfect, oatmeal, coffee and OJ, all for $2.50. Rt 522 from the hotel to Port Royal was a great 4 lane country road and didn't feel like a highway. Entered Sky Line Drive on the North side. Sky Line Drive/Shenandoah National Park was majestic. The views and twisties, (curves) ...

... halt. I sat there in shock as the manager cleared
the door- livid… and spouting epithets which gently translated to, “Get out of
here and don’t come back again!” We did,
hurriedly… but ever since I am VERY aware of overhead clearances.

Well, the campground is beginning to fill. Think I’ll get a cup of coffee and see if
anyone might need some help setting up….
