Wytheville in Wythe County… pronounced WITH-ville in YTH
County… my trivia du jour. Anyway I had to stay here another day to find
that out. Actually- it's Memorial Day
weekend… this and Labor Day weekend pretty much assure campgrounds are full
with longstanding reservations. The
owners here were most gracious and allowed me to stay in their last remaining

... Additionally, sometime yesterday the safety glass in the cabover bunk escape window exploded, sending glass everywhere. Put on a temporary repair (Gorilla Tape) when we stopped for the night tonight. Gorilla Tape is the successor to Duct Tape and MUCH stronger.

After an excellent pancake breakfast at Susie's Kitchen, we headed out about 9:30. Susie lead us back down the mountain.
