... South along the Adriatic coast for about a hundred miles. We arrived at our hotel just South of the Port town of Ancona in an area known as Portonuovo which has a commanding view of the sea from a bluff. The wind howls up here and should make for a noisy night. The hotel is devoid of people save a few that we saw in the lounge area. Not surprising given both its remote location and the time of year. Very quite except.....for the wind. All in all a very enjoyable day.

Lucky I didn’t point to my backpack as that has my Murano glass in it, I would have had to punch him. The problem was that I didn’t ...
