Yesterday we arrived in Bridgetown Barbados, sharing the dock with 3 other cruise ships, all of which were much much bigger than ours - as always. We farewelled around 150 passengers here including our new friends from Orange County, before venturing out for the day.

This morning we went on an island tour . Rudolph, our driver took us up the south and east and north coasts and a bit of the west coast too. It was a great way to see Barbados and with only the 4 of us it was very comfortable. Back to our house for linh and then we walked up to the beach at ...
... plants and flowers. We stopped at St John's church which was very old and had plaques and memorials dating back to the earliest settlement. It has a lovely position high on a hill top looking over the ocean. The graveyard has the best views and is in a beautiful and peaceful setting. ... to Ruth, who was our guide for the 45 minute tour of Kensington Oval. We went into the ground where the cricket pitch was a lush green. The ground was very impressive, and it's a pity there wasn't a game on, because we just felt like sitting in the shade listening to the sound of leather on willow. We were taken all around the ground and into the press box. We were shown where the players sit and where the VIP visitors go ...
