    ... while there wasn't as much room, up the top near the road was better. We pitched the tent in between rocks, it only just fit, and packed up the bike for the night.     A fine night it was that we spent at Turtagro. As has become my custom I started to read Rudyard Kipling's Kim. Itas has become my custom fell asleep as soon as I start to read. The one night I did manage to stay awake a while I ended up dreaming I was back in India and not sure where I was headed.That night I got through a few pages. Wow.     ... hard work, but the view from the top and the ride down the other side make it all worthwhile. We ended up in the winter sports mecca of Geilo, situated at the bottom of the steep sided Skurdalen (valley) ringed by ski resorts. There we found a quiet place to stay, had our usual supper and slept well.
    Day 3 we finally got to Haugestøl: the beginning of Rallarvegen. This is an old supply road thst was used for the building of the Oslo to Bergen ...
