When I went back to get the washing some Dutch ladies had finished it and dried it for us which was very nice, maybe this fainting thing was a good tactic after all. The temperature was around 32c when we arrived so we enjoyed laying out in the shade and going for a dip in the murky river. After a bbq we spent the evening sat next to the river and watched the sunset, perfect start to our hols and we stayed in Heeg for 3 ...

It was raining very heavily this morning so no one was in a rush to get up. We had tea in bed for 3 of us and then the request for bacon (should have said before that this smoky bacon was brought by Dawn), beans, egg and mushrooms for breakfast. John was told that the heaviest rain was going to be between 12 – 5 but it was extremely heavy now so what was it going to be like later! They also said that tomorrow is going ...
