Lovely morning with Edwin Muriel Fleur and Sanne. Enjoying the sunshine and then packing the small bag for Turkey. Temperature will vary a bit so need summer and warmer clothes too. An early morning start for me to get to Roelof and Janny's place in Gorredijk. Then we were off to Urk, a fishing village which was once an island. The weather was great to sit outside and enjoy coffee and lunch and a stroll around the village.
We returned to Gorredijk and then rode bicycles through the woods and countryside to find a lovely quiet place to enjoy afternoon tea, in the sunshine.

It was raining very heavily this morning so no one was in a rush to get up. We had tea in bed for 3 of us and then the request for bacon (should have said before that this smoky bacon was brought by Dawn), beans, egg and mushrooms for breakfast.
