    I'm very excited because my dad is leaving Winnipeg today. He's travelling to Amsterdam too! he will go from Winnipeg to Minneapolis, and from Minneapolis to Amsterdam. We're going to pick him up! I'm making a nice drawing for him...!

    Today the garbage truck came to pick up plastic only! My oma's town hands out special bags in which you can put ALL your plastic waste. So used sandwich bags, empty bottles, packaging etc. This big plastic bag gets picked up every week. You have to hang it off the lamp post, on one of the hooks. This way the garbage/plastic stays off the ground and mice and other rodents can't get in ...

    It was raining very heavily this morning so no one was in a rush to get up.
