A day that went missing.
Arrived at the airport, got on our plane, and waited for over an hourfor takeoff
The rest of Thursday disappeared somewhere between London and Hong Kong.
Not a lot to report on that - I could describe the seat in front, but thats about all.
We are now in Hong Kong, and it is friday mornng - about 3 hours behind Sydney.
Next blog will be about Friday
... few hours I will be on a plane on my way to South Africa for the first leg of my trip! The next entry I do will be in Cape Town and hopefully I will have more exciting things to write about than me being sat at home!

Well, I had a lovely sleep. I woke up for maybe 15 minutes at 4.15 am but then I slept right through to 9.54 am. I felt very refreshed. It's now 11.59 pm and I am feeling sleepy so I have acclimatised to local time. After we got up we decided to go to a little cafe Pudd had been to before and was keen to go back to for breakfast at Trafalgar Square. We walked there as it was a lovely day- 24° and sunny. ... to London. When we did get going, our day consisted of a series of unfortunate events. As we were taking turns in the shower the smoke alarms in the entire building went off. We tried disabling the smoke detectors but couldn't. We tried to turn them off at the electrical box but couldn't. We tried calling the property manager but we were only able to leave a message. We left for a while to go to the grocery store because ...
... a pub for some food, eventually finding one with a huge beer garden, good food and good beer. Sorted. We were just up from the river so from there we took a walk along and across the Putney Bridge into Fulham.
We briefly thought about going down to do the Fulham FC Stadium tour but opted to lie down in a nice park in the old bishop's house and dog watch for a while. We were pretty spent by that stage so took the subway back over to Stockwell. Kate turned up with ...
