    ... I flew from Perth to Florida at the end of April, and my lab work officially started last week, ironically on the day of my 40th birthday. What a way to celebrate!

    ... A quick meal followed and even though Hooters had a restaurant on the river bank, it was decided to be an inappropriate venue for dinner and we chose a more low key restaurant at Jacksonville Landing on the riverfront. (To be fair, Hooters looked like a complete dive!)

    A water taxi to replace the return bridge walk finished off the day and we all crashed!

    We had a great chat for a short time, but they were also going to join an afternoon group to make a big day of it. We were able, however, to discuss the convention as their congregation had been tied in to the Detroit International I'd attended.

    ... after his new egg babies that he found. All was good until they hatched into dinosaurs and the Mummy dinosaur came looking for them.

    Further past the play area we ventured. Not realising that there was more to see, we visited the butterfly enclosure then onto the dinosaur exhibit. Apparently, dinosaur fossils were found in the area so they are building a new exhibit. The one the have already was still interestingly strange. We walk over ...
