... TN. Quite the mountainy town with cabin themed everything, Dixie Country, Dollywood, Graceland. Massive everything! Pancake houses galore (southern stylee).<br><br>We were all rather tired and hungry by this point and stopped to have dinner. Sumner made pasta for us and we sat down at our little Lola table to have a cute little dinner. We commemorated with a picture, chilled out a bit, scoped some things on the internet, and made back out to the open road. Now we're headed to Memphis...ish.

Hi, everyone, <br>Just want to say that the Riverstone Lodge in Townsend, Tn. is by far the very best place to stay in The Smoky Mountains. It is the closest Hotel / Lodge to Cades Cove which is just unbeleivable with its mountain views and all the wildlife (deer, black bear, wild turkeys ect...) also well maintained original cabins &amp; churches from the1800's are spread out across the 11 mile journey. Yesterday was a pretty relaxed day of driving, minus the extreme sticky southern heat. This stuff the horribly disgusting!!!!! We only made a few stops, one was to get our normal beer and glass, we tried to get one at a few places in Nashville but we struck out a lot. So we stopped in Knoxville and we finally got one. It has been many years since I've been in Cherokee and little has changed except for the Casino which is undergoing major expansion. We were nestled into a nice RV park with a brook flowing through it. Cherokee is close to many attractions and we enjoyed our stay there.

We found a spot somewhere on the border of North Carolina and Tennessee.
