Well it's the first day being temporarily unemployed. Feels weird knowing I won't be going back to the hospital to work. Got a lot accomplished. My passport arrived finally. We got the hitch installed and the trailer reserved. We got to spend the morning with sweet friends and their 12 horses and numerous cats. Had a blast feeding carrots and apples to the horses. We girls pushed on and enjoyed the walk. Sadly, I missed the giant trees somehow. I'm still not sure how I missed seeing them - maybe I missed a spur on the trail?
After all this, we rejoined Phan and Thao at the motorcycle rental place and headed back for a bonfire at the cabin.
