It hasn't been too long since the last post, so this one might be a shorty. Friday was a successful sleep and blog day (woah, Im blogging about blogging... Blogception). At night Ryan, Max, Lydia, and I went to see the film The Water Diviner. The film stars Russell Crowe and was also his directorial debut. It won 3 Australian Academy awards, including Best Picture, and had been on my radar to see since last fall. It came out in December, but ...

... just arrived. I guess when I'm seeing new things every day, it kinda feels like I'm not really settled in yet. I like it though. There are still so many things I want to do before I head back the Midwest. Check out Malibu and Point Dume, explore the shore and pier of Santa Monica, and climb some mountains in Angeles National Forest. Looking forward to some more adventures.

... and a free t-shirt. They still need to finalize some stuff, but for the most part I think it'll all work out. I'll keep you updated on that when I have more news. The day ended with class. This class was about scriptwriting and in preparation for it, we had to watch World War Z, Boyhood, and Short Term 12, all really good movies. Probably the best homework ever. As for this weekend, we have a lot planned so stay tuned.
