... of the most amazing colours and numbers of jellyfish moving in an almost synchronised swimming dance in their special round tanks. A volunteer we got talking to took us behind the tanks to see the "backstage" of the tanks to see how they worked . Wow . We were again running out of time here. Late lunch there in the cafe where recycling and organic local and minimised packaging send the message of waste reduction home. There is also a sobering display of ...

At first Huntington thought to have a modest home; however his Uncle's widow whom he married (ok, strange) in 1913 had other plans for the home and it grew to 55,000 square feet - OMG.

Included in the galleries are works by Gainsborough (Blue Boy (c. 1770)); the portrait of ...

We left the barking seals in Morro Bay after breakfasting to their concert. Gorgeous. Safely at the airport (Qantas Club, shower, fab) we made the 5pm deadline to return the hire car with 10 minutes to spare, mmmm. Never underestimate LA traffic was the first advice we got from a woman at LA airport, our first flight in the US. But blissfully naive we took our time and stopped at Santa Barbara for lunch. We tried for the bakery Ish suggested but they stopped serving as we ...
