So my adventure began today in Houston. After effectively two sleepless nights in a row, there was no time for jet lag with my ride picking me up at 7:30am this morning. Joe Eck - Completions Global Account Manager - picked me up, driving 1.5 hours to the hotel, and drove me out to SRC (Schlumberger Rosharon Campus), to talk sand control and reservoir monitoring. Mark Teek was my tour guide (SRC Client Relations Manager), and gave me the run down in the SRC facility. ...
... hang. Old Mesilla is actually my new fave place. Our cab driver told us to go, or we would not have made this incredible discovery. The restaurant we ate dinner at was amazing looking, and I took many pictures, but the food only so-so.
Can't wait for our next segment to this journey, and to be able to share more pics. You will notice I stay out of most of the pictures.

They have a duel system whereby you can either put your card in the slot and tank up, or prepay at the station and then fill up. As we were confused Ben went in and asked for help. He prepaid $30 (approx £20) and filled up about half of the tank. So it's approximately a $60 tank with prices at $2.80/gallon and we'd used half a tank this week. Not a clue ...
