During my day hear there was a walking tour around various points on the island, including different housing where staff and their families lived, the social recreation area of the prison and the main prison building itself. I then did a guided audio your which gave lots of information on conditions in the prison, how it worked, escape attempts and the cell blocks. There were pictures of rangers looking on, a really sad, worried expression on their faces. The fire did some serious damage but, they are recovering and saved a lot of the natural beauty contained in the mountain. We only did around a mile hike round the mountain; slightly precarious being a small walkway and quite a steep ...

I knew that the museum opened at 10am, but we had left very early in order to give T the space, and so we got there with about 40 minutes to kill. We had fun riding the escalators up and down in the outdoor mall which contained Discovery Gateway, and then ...
