... in our room. Travelling really makes you appreciate the little things, like good water pressure and fresh bread. There is a lady in the building next door with golden curly hair who likes to dance in her window. It is very very cute.

Joanna’s friends, whom we’d hung out with in Prague, were also in Vienna. They’d heard you can see a show at the Opera House for 3 euros (for a standing ticket) if you line up 1.5 hours beforehand. So we ...

... looked like a gothic building, and there was a large (somewhat creepy) church tower nearby. Who needs an alarm clock, eh?

We are staying here until Thursday and then moving on to Wiener Neustadt. We accidentally googled the wrong hotel and got our hopes up thinking there was a spa at the next hotel. There is not. However there is one about 15mins away called Linsberg Asia Spa. We'll be going there on Saturday on our day off!

In an ideal world, I would be posting more and sharing my adventures with you guys, but I get so busy doing things or just can't find the words to describe what is going on here. ... vendors became mostly that of goods and trinkety things. One travel guide we read described it as what you might find in a Nepalese market. We turned around and headed back to the food (of course) and picked up some hummus, a bag of mixed olives and some Viennese rolls in preparation for a picnic at the palace! We headed underground to the subway to the first palace on the agenda. The Schönbrunn palace was completed in the 18th century. It was a summer ...

... used them to cook our meal and eat. Definitely bought dish soap the next day..This trip's theme? YOLO. Had a nice dinner, and came back to spend time with my roommate, get to know her better, and finish my final exams and papers for this week (it is exam week for two online courses I am taking). It was surprisingly warm with a temperture of 91, only cooling down to 87 at night. It was hard to find much of a breeze, and there are not any fans or air. Luckily, next week will be in the 60's.
