    ... which is ace because I've not met anyone coming from that way as of yet. A thousand photos later and I've just hopped off the return boat to the mainland. It's so peaceful and beautiful here and again I've been so lucky with the weather. This is my perfect climate - it's quite brisk, but the sun is shining. I could sit here forever.     ... slices from the Smon bakery (best in town) and had them for dessert. We also picked up a piece of grmada, made of cake, rum, milk, custard topped off with whipped cream and strawberry syrup. Bled has a very relaxing ambiance and we're glad we decided to stay here for a few nights. It really is a beautiful mountain area with majestic scenery. So, Slovenia ranks very highly in our esteem.     ... they were cavemen. That comment came back to bite us as the questions kept coming throughout the tour! At one point the lighting switched off completely leaving us experiencing complete darkness, and surprisingly everyone was silent rather than starting to panic!     So here we are, getting set for our 2014 Balkan Adventure.     ... grass and apples along the way however on the way home my horse unexpectedly decided to bend down to grab a fallen apple. Funny thing was, I was holding onto the reins firmly and almost got pulled forward off the horse! Luckily I was riding at the back so no one saw this happen.
