... us directly to our destination. One hiccup in the trip was the stop to re-fill the tank. I filled it an the pump stopped automatically when it was full. I pulled the trigger once more to keep filling and the pump stopped automatically again - filled. We continued to the Hertz office.

All was fine with the car except that the fuel gauge showed 7/8 tank. But I had just filled it. I told Buddy I would go and fill it to make sure so he gave me back the keys and James and ...

... walked across the road to the palace and did a tour with an audio guide. The university of Mannheim is actually a part of the old palace so I just had to walk next door to look at that. ... the big church to a small cafe nearby. There were quite a few people there already and everybody was already talking in their own groups, so Steffie and I just decided to have a hot chocolate alone and participate next week. The hot chocolate was interesting, it was a milk latte with a chocolate bar that you had to melt into the milk. The pumpkin seed flavour wasn't too bad!
