... The Archbishop had a surprise awaiting his guests as they dined al fresco. His seat of course, stayed dry. One of the most impressive was a golden conical shaped crown shot up into the air by one jet of water. It even hit the ceiling of the grotto. How to poke fun at your guests. When I first came I had 1/2 of a roll for breakfast. Then I moved up to 1 roll, then 1 1/2 and today it was a 2 roll morning. Yikes. We walked in downtown Munich shopping in the rain. We went back to the Hof Brau house hoping my jacket was ...

... decent camera between the four of us – the iPhone would have to suffice. Though had we known the bad weather we’d encounter over the next few days, we wouldn’t have been so ******* ourselves.

Combining Austrian and Australian culture, we cooked up a BBQ with Austrian sausages and took a midnight swim in the enclosed pool. All great fun and as good a way to start our trip as possible, given the weather.

The next day ...
