The mighty Dolomite Passes
... I decide to head off towards "Pordoi pass" rather than Cortina. The road up this pass is truly amazing but it’s extremely slow going as it does not appear to have been treated very well for ice and snow.

... I head upwards I pass through a number of towns where not much at all is going on and all seems closed. Soon I pass through St Christiana and the massive Dolomite mountains are rising above me. Left padova train to Verona from there suppose to be a fast train to Bolzano, yes it broke down so were put on normal fast regional train, bugger, only ended up 30mins longer somehow normally 90 mins.
