I was quite pleased with the box of Australian goodies which included: Vegemite (an Australian breakfast spread), The Advertiser newspaper (still rubbish), an umbrella hat (wouldn't be caught dead in it), an Adelaide calendar plus a variety of souvenirs including magnets, pins and stickers.

... br> Then I got busy getting my package organised for Australia by buying a few German things to send home. Go visit Rainer in 2 weeks and you might be able to read a German newspaper. Season 1 of Dr House has been entertaining me in the afternoons as well, but with an upcoming trip to Stuttgart this Sunday, I've been trying to organise that and Christmas cards as well. ... making noise. We escaped the crowds by crossing over the Neckar River and up to the Philosopher's Way which is a famous walking route in Heidelberg.

When we got in the car the boys had so much energy that we decided to visit the neighboring Alsbach Castle before heading the rest of the way home.
