We arrived at Linz after sailing all night. Following an early breakfast we were loaded on a replica of the Majestic Imperator, the train used by the luxury Imperial Hapsberg family, for transport to Salzburg at the base of the Austrian alps. The train was very lavish as you would expect for the King and his family. The 2 hour trip took us through some very pretty country. Some interesting information from our guide - Linz has a population of ...

Once we were done we headed back down the trail to the lakes edge and had our drinks and took photos probably spending an hour or so at the lakes edge. Max came with us and found an audience for his dancing which was a crack up. It was very cold even though the surrounding mountains didn't have any snow yet it is ...

(Cycled 47 km) We pulled back the cabin curtains to find grey skies and light rain. The bikes were being unpacked at 7 pm so Tony was down with his bike lock, on the dockside, to check that the tandem was secure but it was not a problem as the tandem had been put behind the man distributing all the hire bikes. After breakfast and making our packed lunches we set off towards the monastery (the only Trappist one in Austria) ...
