... veg... Most of them looked like the dodgy kidnappers from Taken 2 :) After 50+ kms of cycling we finally reach Linz, the capital of upper Austria. It is after 7pm and the river banks are still packed with groups of bare chested bocce players, many friends and couples relaxing and tanning beside the Danube. Some are swimming/drowning against the strong current, others are jogging, cycling, listening to music, reading.. One lady is just sitting by the river with ...

... the Machland River plain to the valley of the Strudengau River. Our destination is the city of Grein, located at the foot of a remarkable 15th century castle on the riverbank, our approach along the bike path was pretty as a postcard. Our accommodations changed for tonight and we are staying at a cute little Pension, located near the main square just a block back from the river. Heidi and Herbie are parked safely in the ...

... or fish? The meat turned out to be a small perfectly seasoned beef fillet. We watched the chef do the cooking and preparing of each plate. He is only about 25 years old. He must have won a competition. The presentation for all dishes was lovely. We chose this evening to tell them about Pawp and Jayj's 60th anniversary! So they were very surprised by the cake and song for them. (My iPad died in Salzburg, but I have a picture on my camera of the cake- I just have ...
