... After a freshen up it was down to dinner for our last included meal before our arrival in Budapest. Meal fairly ordinary veal & rice an unusual combination but it was food that I didn't have to prepare. A short stroll after tea found some " erotic " shops nearby that were closed & no we weren't in Amsterdam. Ha!!! ... I am afraid we didn't even try to speak one word of German, but she spoke English and pointed us to the non-smoking dining room. Unfortunately, that must also mean the "foreigner" dining room, so we ended up in a room by ourselves, with cloth-covered tables, and English pop songs playing softly in the background, rather than the wood-paneled, jovial beer garden I was envisioning, but the house beer was still very good, as was the food. ... loft for the boys to sleep in, and there is a children’s play area just off the bar with a climbing wall! Only downside is that they stop serving at 9 pm. That and the fact that Sam twisted his ankle just before we left home and it still hurts, so keep your fingers crossed that he will be able to ski tomorrow.
