    ... parking lot further up the hill, once I had figured out what the parking lot attendant was saying to me in rapid Hungarian. It also helped to have been there the previous day, so his arm motions made sense.     ... little too cocky, a problem that was quickly remedied. I don't know what it was - different snow, different board, steeper slopes, rude Austrian skiers whipping by within inches of me - but I couldn't turn worth a darn and went down hard many times on that first run.
