... not even to the top because we ran out of time), we got on our sleds at about 8,500 feet altitude and began the ride down the hill. The sled ride in total lasted 1 hour... That is 1 hour sledding down the hill, only stopping when I was about to crash or fall over the mountain.... I wish I could put into words how amazing, insane, crazy, and fun this "sled ride" was, but I honestly can't even begin to explain. Instead I will just let my pictures try and do it justice.. ...

... smashed on impact and the pieces then fell through hitting the next metal barrier and so on. Once we had got over our initial fear that we were going to be hit, we realised that this was probably a "controlled avalanche" to remove loose and potentially dangerous rock. ... off and headed for the town of Interlaken!!

We were now on a much slower road and plodding along behind slow cars. This road runs along the edge of the lake called the Brenzer see and is just beautiful scenery but not much of it can be seen as again this road runs within some extremely large tunnels along the cliff edge to which we were again happy with as it’s a great shelter from the bad weather.

We have finally arrived at Interlaken at 9pm and **** me what a day. Totally lost my head about losing my phone in Voules Train Station toilet/shower room (if you call a sink an baby wipes a shower). Turns out the phone was just in the pocket of my side of the van and didn't stop me raising BP to dangerous levels and insulting the French repeatedly. Soon after we hit the Swiss border.
