We were at the Swiss Museum of Transport (Verkehrshaus der Schweiz) so time for a visit.

The museum opened in 1959 and exhibits all forms of transport including locomotives, automobiles, ships and aircraft as well as communications.

We had about 90 minutes before closing so we went for maximum viewing in limited time.

... people standing in the road either side checking cars in and out, but just as it came to our turn, our customs guy decided he had had enough and walked off and we just drove straight on through. I must admit I felt a bit cheated - I had our passports, our vehicle reg document, driving insurance, driving permits and Green Card all at the ready and..........not so much as a "Welcome to Switzerland"!!
