... 10 people sitting around an outdoor table just singing and harmonizing a cappella. They were having such a good time, as did we while we listened.

Our visit to Lucerne has been nothing short of extraordinary. It is another city to which I would like to return.

Tomorrow: train to Basel, Switzerland where we spend 1 night at Hotel.D and then board the Emerald Dawn the next day.

See you on the flip side!

Views back to Lucerne and down to the lakes are just beathtaking... Its higher than Kosiousco Today we climbed higher than ...

... walked around the city and the lake until 4 when I could finally check into the hostel. Shortly after checking in I met Jessika and Jana, two lovely girls from Newfoundland. We got along right away, and I got to spend the next day and a half hanging out with them! Which was great! There really isn't much to see in Switzerland, but we eat breakfast by the lake, enjoying the view of the Alps, went to the 'dying lion of Luzern Monument' and laid in ...

... of the mountain where there was a chairlift type thing which took us half way up the mountain. From half way we caught this massive box up which carried about 40 people, up the mountain. It was very tight and a little clostrophobic. We had the most beautiful views of the mountain the whole way up. We took loads of photos and didn't think it could get much better. Well weren't we wrong. Once we were on top of the mountain we had a 360 degree view of ...
