While all the European tourists were dressing in ski gear in preparation to enter the cave, Rob decided to photograph and film my reaction to the drastic temperature change. I'm sure I got a few strange looks... But after ...

... and their two dogs, both spaniels, forgot the exact breed. One was 3 years and the other 15. It was hot, and even hotter in the gondola, we had grave fears for the 15 year old, it was breathing hard, and didn't sound like it should be out hiking in the 35 degree sun. But once at the top of Karwendel Peak, 1480m, it was fine, and happy to run through the wild flowers famous to the alps. At the peak were also the ever present para gliders, what a view they had! We didn't waste ...
