... one day that my GPS was activated on the map that I had preloaded when I had Wifi. This has been hit and miss since - but loading what you need in a Wifi zone should do the trick. I was planning to get a SIM card over here for my old phone, but if I can hit so many Wifi zones I can have access otherwise. It has been easy to do that. ... We decide to have lunch there - spaghetti bolognaise for Melinda and Louise and some chicken thing for Connor. Helen wisely decides to forego any food until her stomach settles down.

The day is finished with a trip to Hellbraun Castle, specifically to see the glass pavilion where 'she is 16 going on 17' was filmed, as well as the tree-lined avenue where the von Trapp kiddies are all dressed in old curtains ...

... years ago. I visited the beautiful St Peters Church graveyard that was featured in the Sound of Music and I found it to be a quite haven among the bustle of tourists. I wandered the narrow streets of the old town and only looked at Mozart's birthplace house where he was born on January 27, 1756. It is now a museum but as I had previously visited it I didn't bother paying to go inside. Salzburg hasn't changed much from what I remember as all the ...
