      ... including our mothers.

The Christmas Markets in Vienna open around the middle of November. They are all over the city, especially in the central First District, to which we are very close. The markets have lots of goodies, some lovely artisan pieces, some mass produced. Lots of Christmas themed decorations. A group of Dutchmen made until late into the night a lot of noise. Because of the noise I could not really sleep. I always say Dutch are like the Germans, but with caravans.
Leave because of already visited many cities and the bad weather, Prague. I drove all day in the rain, so finish driving earlier and stop in Freistadt. ...

A city from an old fairy-tale

... it faces. The position of the castle in front of the city and vice-verse makes C. Krumlov an outstandingly photogenic place. This and the really warm weather (it kept well about 25C for these two days) resulted that the most pictures from our trip were shot here (so far).

We fought with this maze of cobbled crooked streets, while the Vltava rushed along from almost every direction, where every ...
