... trap, no doubt, but I've wanted to visit it. I had no idea that Germany and Austria were so devout in the Catholic religion. We saw wood carved crucifixes along the roadside and here and there on mountain sides. Our guide told us it was not a marking for accidents or anything tragic, it was just a place for hunters or woodsman to go and pray when they were away from the village.
Our final destination for the evening was Innsbruck, a lovely city with a ...

I have never been up this road or even this neck of the world before so was
not sure what to expect. I had a feeling yesterday I had saw the last of the
mighty big Alpine peaks but how wrong I was.
Soon this road starts making its way up into the mountains and there are
loads of warning signs for snow tyres and icy conditions etc. However that ...

... full experience of the drag lifts, and getting a free ride down the chair lift! Tracy didn't know how to ski so I have her the quick run down before we headed down the hills! She got the hang of it pretty well and pretty soon she was flying down the hills! (literally, she couldn't always slow down) We had a really fun day though and only had issues with our skis once! There was snow or something packed into my boot or ski and I'm not kidding ...
