... Marc, for only 6.50€ wow!! They were in heaven. On the way home to Schwyz we got a little lost, ended up on the 419 main road thru the French countryside. Then once we passed thru the border at Basel it started to snow, and boy did it come down, we arrived home safely but there were 100's of accidents reported that afternoon-evening. Thank goodness we had our experienced driver, Werner! Four fabulous day in the ...

Today we plan to spend the day enjoying the sights of Strasbourg. We drove about 10 mins to park and ride station to catch the tram. The station is Baggersee which is next to an enormous Auchan Spermarche, and I mean enormous. As the forecast was 33C the city has announced a pollution free tram ticket of €1.80 to use the trams and buses for the day - to discourage the use of cars in the city. We caught the tram into Republique stop near the cathedral. The ...

... I joined him I had a hard time keeping up. I bought him a heart rate monitor once so that he could watch what his body was doing, but he put in a drawer and never used it. He walked up the steepest roads he could find, and then turned to concrete culverts to 'improve' his workout. He climbed stairs two at a time for hours. Then he had an aortic aneurism in a gymnasium that ended his life, but it wasn’t until he was nearly eighty. My father believed in a concept called ...
