... one Brat and hot dog stand open that served the meat in pretzel buns, so of course Kevin was in heaven.

Switzerland does not have regular coffee, so you have to get something with espresso and they don't have bagels - only croissants, which are quite delicious.

Switzerland is extremely expensive, but not to the Swiss since minimum wage is $25 Francs, so let's say we have tried our best to navigate the grocery store to ...

Day 2 of our trip was a ride back to Constance along the route we had travelled three days previously. Unlike that sunny Sunday when the bike path was like a superhighway with lots of weekend riders, the ride under cloudy skies was more peaceful this time. I get off the trail for a bit to make it easier to walk from town to town. I find, a bit to my amusement, that drivers seem utterly baffled when seeing a pedestrian by the road. Even when there's a very wide shoulder and plenty of room for them to drive ...

The scenery so far in Austria has been nice, but not spectacular (here I go, comparing it to Switzerland again!) But my next town more than makes up for it. Auberbraz is halfway up up grassy hillside, and above it is not one, but two magnificent waterfalls, tumbling over the rocky precipice.

Time to do a little side trip. It woudn't be right to just snap a picture and move on... I'm going to climb up to the base of one of those waterfall.
