... are allowed up the narrow tower at a time should have told me that it's a small space up top. You pay once you're at the top of the narrow spiral staircase, and then you have to climb a ladder to get outside for the real view. At the top of the ladder you squeeze through a tiny door (it's a little awkward) and then BAM you're outside and way above the main market square! It's, like I said, a very small space where you just walk around the bell at the top and enjoy the views ...

... order too much. We got a delicious focaccia Italian sandwich, pasta covered in creamy Gorgonzola cheese, and another small pasta dish with a traditional tomato sauce. Every bite was better than the last, and we of course ate it all! Just trying tell me I ordered too much food!

... beautiful. We stopped at Creglingen for lunch. We spent the day driving through gorgeous town after gorgeous town.

We arrived at Rothenburg late afternoon, found some accomodation in a hotel which was nice & headed into the Old Town.
