    ... in the rain—but OF COURSE—neither of our flashes would work on either of our phones (par for the course of this adventure so far)! I’m including the attempt at a selfie, which I had to edit to night mode for you to even see our tired and terrified faces. This was a scary place!

    ... much in awe as MJ and I were (even though we have been before). There is something magical about Rothenburg. Even found the puppet show theatre where we attended with our gang so many years ago (the puckfest weekend - who could forget).

    Another Bavarian lunch with wine or beer and soup, bratwurst with sauerkraut and strudel for dessert. It never really gets old.

    ... Gasthof was as downtown as possible.

    The mood was Christmas as it was chilly and the typical German overcast day. The decorations about town were Christmas colors. We entered many shops, especially devoted to Christmas. The ornaments were unfortunately outrageously expensive or likely made in China. Nonetheless, we enjoyed the town.

    ... interesting than I thought it would be. I particularly enjoyed the historical facts they displayed along with the audio. We spent about 2 hours in there working our way downwards through the decades. Alain and Andrew could have spent even longer and taken a few hundred more photos but we had to get home.
