... a large swimming lake about a kilometre from the
campsite, and found some shade to relax in. A sign told us the water temperature was 23 degrees, very pleasant. The lake is fantastic with enough space for the hoards that were taking advantage of the weather. It has a huge wooden pirate ship for the kids to jump off and pontoons moored mid lake. It is clearly somewhere to bring the kids after school (just about the time we turned up!). What a great place.
It was with much sadness that we had to leave Faschina today. Packing, breakfast, and paying bills was just depressing. Two clear sunny days in a row. So cool! We met at the regulation time of 8:30 am, all bright and breezy (if not a bit stiff and sore) ready for whatever Patrick had planned. According to the itinerary, today we were driving to The Alberg Massif for our hike.
