... be a leisurely 18 mile ride along the lakeside with some great views and pretty villages. Unfortunately, today was steady rain and really strong cold head wind. Nearly blown off bike on more than one occasion ! Stopped in small bakery for coffee and cakes Morale improved when we reached our hotel with large room including separate lounge... We left Ottobeuren and drove onto Lindau. The past 3 days were great however the smell of cow manure is one we won't forgot and get out of our nostrils for awhile.
They spray the manure all over the fields and Soph and l couldn't stop laughing when Phil was filling up with petrol and the truck in the next paddock was hard at work. The stench was over powering.

Today we went to the zeppelin museum. Zeppelin is the company that made the very first blimps. This was a great experience to see how they are made and how they work.

... small island of Reichenau. As its a bit milder than the surrounding area, they can grow things for longer here so its pretty much a farming community; nice to walk around and sit and look at the water.
