... Up and up. Clambering over this rocky staircase. I was aware of how hard I was breathing, and my heart was going nuts, but not from the climb itself, as soon as the headaches set in I knew it definitely was altitude. After about 30 minutes of this one of the people on the outer edge of our huddle looked behind him and exclaimed that he could see some blue sky approaching. Gordy was getting pretty twitchy ...

... for quite awhile. Thankfully, there was hardly a bump and before we knew it we were hopping out and watching the balloon deflate in the middle of a cul-de-sac. Then we were whisked away to enjoy a champagne breakfast and sign a guest book to memorialize our experience. We even got a certificate of completion and our very own picture momento.

Thanks again, M&J! Certainly a once in a lifetime experience we will never forget.
