So, sorry, no adventures to report, but I will post one more entry after I return that HOPEFULLY will include some photos to mountains and natural lakes. I will be driving back south via a more scenic route through central CO down to Albuquerque, then south on 25 to 10. Thanks for reading... next entry will be more scenic I hope!

Jess had some business in Boulder so we went along and called in at NCAR. ( National Center for Atmospheric Research. Not only was it free but it was also set in a scenic position high above Boulder and backed by rugged mountains. ... downtown block that resembles the Denver of the 1880s with shops, galleries and restaurants. A number were closed due to the holiday.

From Denver it was only thirty miles to Boulder. After checking into the motel there was a brief storm which dropped temperature about 10 degrees and made late afternoon and evening perfect for us. Visited the original area of the University of Colorado campus. ...

... for quite awhile. Thankfully, there was hardly a bump and before we knew it we were hopping out and watching the balloon deflate in the middle of a cul-de-sac. Then we were whisked away to enjoy a champagne breakfast and sign a guest book to memorialize our experience. We even got a certificate of completion and our very own picture momento.

Thanks again, M&J! Certainly a once in a lifetime experience we will never forget.
