    ... Here's another collage of the last month. We're heading to Aosta in the Italian Alps for 10 days then a couple of weeks in Val Ferret, Switzerland then loafing somewhere else in the mountains til the end of July.     ... because it is south of the Rhein River and from the air, bombers couldn't tell where the border was between Switzerland and Germany, so they were just using the river as a border.     Today we planned to catch a local bus to a small alpine village that was somewhere high above us unfortunately we awoke in low dense cloud and mountains quite obscured and so a restful day instead. I think my body is starting to voice a need for stillness and rest.     ... think fairly tolerant with pricing but this place is outrageously expensive. Maybe we are just doing badly against the Swiss Franc -- but it is enough for to encourage one to become a tea totaller but only then if you had brought your own teabags, which we had. And so you do feel rather like the captive tourist contributing significantly to the wealth of this 24x24 kilometre beautiful principality or at least to the lifestyle of the Prince who resides in the castle that towers above.
