... through Meza Parks, which was absolutely packed with babies, skaters and cyclists on this summery day. We ended up in a cute little cafe in Miera Iela, another hip-and-happening neighbourhood that I still need to investigate properly.

To properly round up Kate's visit, we went for a walk in the old town, and enjoyed some kvass and herbal tea in the most touristic area near the Swedish gate, enjoying some traditional kokle music.

This time it was romance between the driver and young woman on the bus trip from Riga to Tallinn. First she was sitting on first seat on the passenger side of the bus. They started talking and after a while she moved down to the steps, sitting next to him. That was comforting because he didn't have to turn his head completely around to ogle her, now he could look at her and keep the road in his peripheral vision. Safety first!
