... the evening, he made a cheese fondue, another local speciality, and we all enjoyed catching up on twenty odd years of news. It was really remarkable - almost as though we had only parted a few days ago, instead of almost 25 years. Shows the strength of good friends!

The next day, we drove out of town to Peter's chalet in the Lautebraun valley. A wonderful location right next door to some of the ...

So what did we do today? We went to three different countries, yes just TODAY! :) Sarah and Martin took us on a three country tour of Germany, France, and Switzerland. We started in Switzerland of course, then went to Germany and had a great lunch at a cute little restaurant. We tried both French and German Cuisine, then had Gelato of course!

... is also right next door. Surprisingly with all this hub it is very very quiet. Our room is on the top floor and has skylights with electric shutters. A different experience is the toilet that has the exhaust fans built into it, so as you do a number one or number two the fan automatically kicks in. Best of all no smells.

We topped our long day off with a bit of Mister Wong and collapsed in bed.

Today we met with all our cousins and their parents and went for a BBQ in the forest in Villmergen. We had to collect wood for the fire and use an existing fire pit to make fire.

We found a wasp nest next to our BBQ area. They smelled the food when we cooked it and became aggressive during eating.

Because it was and existing fire pit that we picked in the forest we had ...
