... there quickly. So we jumped on the train in Mannheim at 7am and arrived at Kassel at 9:30am. We managed to make our connecting train, but the train never left the platform due to "technical issues."

My mum, a friend of her and I took a day tour to visit the Christmas markets in Heidelberg and to hopefully have nice weather for some pictures.

I remember that I visited Heidelberg some years ago in summer and that I did not like it as it was so full of tourists.

It is funny how sometimes when you think of a place you are full of joy and sometimes you just do not like a place at all.

I guess Heidelberg is a mixture.

Saturday morning started with us accompanying Angelika & Karl on one of their favorite pastimes, shopping at the flea market. They drove us about 15 minutes to a huge market setup in a shopping center parking lot and encouraged us to look around.
