6 hours of traveling later...

We arrive at Stansted at about 8pm and proceed to have a, probably, day old burger somewhere in the airport. Yum. Turns out that all the shops, in the departure lounge and outside, close at about 9pm so we have to sit around for 4 hours before our flight boards with nada to do.

Finally we get on the flight with a load of other backpacker types and head to Malaysia!

Still a while to go

... round the Galapagos Islands. 7th June 2005 Flight Home and then I urgently need to find a job in order to pay the mortgage. I can barely put the trip notes down for excitement, all the many things to see and do. Walking the Inca Trail to Machu Pichu, white water rafting on the Riobamba, travelling in dug-out canoes through the Amazon rainforest ...

The end - reflections

... eventually come back into play and therefore the spectre of employment again hangs over me. So, the obvious question is, where to for my next trip? Kel and Andy really enjoyed their journey through Nepal, India, Thailand, Turkey and it cost them bugger-all, so that could be an option. Must do it through a package deal they said. Or North America would be the other option. I'd love to traverse the USA, west to east, and then Canada, if I can save enough money over the next year or so.
