Snowing all morning!

... no wind. It was quite pleasant walking up the road in the gently falling snow. We also bought some fresh milk, non-pasteurised and had fun walking back as the snow fell.

Being snowed in gave me the opportunity to update this travel blog that has fallen so far behind when I was unable to upload any photos while we were staying at Estaing. I also got behind with my daily ramblings so spent much of today ...

... the awesome mountain ranges. I say possibility, cause it was snowing and therefore no view :0(

Other days were spent in chilly Zurich, where we walked to some shops, to the lake and then in the older section of town. In general I am not too excited about Zurich in the winter. It does not seem to offer a 'feeling' - it is much nicer in the summer. To cap off the day, we ended up in a french restaurant and enjoyed more of some "end of day" slow falling ...

... rewarding for the phenomenal environment. We saw many streams and waterfalls. Overlooking the valley was very cool. We didn't even come close to making it to the summit; it requires rock climbing equipment and much better (warmer) clothing than we have. Near the peak of the Alps there was still a ton of snow, every once in awhile we would hear this crashing noise and see that an avalanche was occurring. It ...
