... for a walking tour. This is the famous composer Mozart's birthplace so lots of touristy Mozart" nick nacks". The weather was warm / hot with temp 30-31 degrees. Would have been ok if my feet/ ankles weren't throbbing & swelling. Have to find the voltaren before another walking tour tomorrow in Graz. Enough of ailments. Our tour took us through the old town where we met our tour director after lunch who walked (not again) back hotel to check in. ...

The hills are alive with the sound of music!! Salzburg begun with a night walking tour around this area of Austria. Snow peaked mountains surrounded us as we viewed some filming locations most identified to the movie based on the Von Trapp family. Dinner allowed us to try some of the more traditional Austrian food, pork schnitzel and dumplings, while we got into the local spirit of beer drinking! After dinner, we tried ...

... trails lead us around the entire circumference of the hill. There were some nice views of the city and the open countryside behind it. This was more of a hike than I had planned for, especially since I had gone running in the morning and then showered. We went back to the hotel room to rest and eat lunch. After lunch, we walked around Old Town a little more, checking out the different restaurants that were recommended. It was so hot out, ...
